Many new conceptual frontiers have appeared, being that in the digital, economic, or social (media) domain. These conceptual frontiers powered by technological advances seem to be abstracted non-tangible hard to see ‘places’, such as online engagements, financial mechanisms and digital moneys. It can be hard to articulate the effects of such a place, however often they felt. I hope to visualize some of the effects to allow a way of engaging topics that are complex and fractured.  

I try to build an understanding of these unseen regions I attempt to draw attention to the process and create images that suggest time through layers and process. This can be done through stories with allegories that mirror characters and places as well as sculpturally in my paintings and in 3D objects such as Asphalt, inflatables and light stencils.  

On canvas, these worlds, regions, and abstract places collide. I use layers of dripped paint, and literal or optical cuts on the canvas to create these spaces where these characters engage with each other. Positions emerge of digital and non-digital imagery of ‘real’ and ‘non-real’ spaces.
